Crying, shaking, laughing: the body when someone finally listens

Release, not diagnosis. A piece to read when the body asks for space.

There is a slightly cruel idea going around: that if you do not cry during a massage, the work did not take. As if the body owed you a scene to justify the hour. Sometimes it shakes because it finally does not have to hold a meeting together. Sometimes it laughs because the silence became unbearable and beautiful at once. Sometimes nothing visible happens and something settles anyway.

What would be strange is someone asking you to interpret every gesture. A tremor is not a diagnosis. Tears do not make you more spiritual or more advanced. If you leave a little kinder to yourself, that is already enough.
